Investigation of RNA expression, transcript processing and modification in Cytoplasm and Nucleus
In cooperation with Dr. Tamer Butto, we are isolating RNA of Cytoplasm and Nuclei and investigate the deviation of transcriptional landscapes between the compartments. Using long-read sequencing techniques of Oxford Nanopore technologies we focus on the investigation of different regulatory levels like gene expression, transcript abundancy or RNA modification detection within compartments to reveal novel regulatory mechanisms.
NanopoReaTA – a user friendly nanopore realtime transcriptional analysis pipeline
Nanoporeata is a browser based tool that can be installed as a docker container. It allows users with limited knowledge about computer science to run transcriptional analysis of Nanopore sequencing experiments in real-time.
