LncRNAs and chromosome conformation Long non-coding RNAs play an imortant role in organizing nuclear architecture. Compared to protein coding genes, they are usually expressed in lower abundance but show a higher variation of expression levels among different cell types. With bioinformatic methods, I am investigating the differential expression of lncRNAs and its relation to chromosome conformation in human cell lines.
Clustering single cell expression data with the use of metainformation I am currently testing clustering approaches with gene expression matrices which are modified by using different metainformation.
